Regarding who’s listening. October 16, 2014. There’s a temptation to write poetry to please the masses. Or just a certain demographic. Or even just one person. And I could do it. I have words tattooed into my fingertips. I can stamp out feelings and metaphors,. I can stir a warm breeze of inspiration around in your mind without drawing my eyebrows any closer together than they normally are. Lately I haven’t written much at all,. Words are for communication. Those who have been keeping up with this blog will know I've mentioned the Y numerous times before, but it's about time there was a post dedicated to this incredible group of people. I knew coming to Cape Town I wanted to find a campus ministry to join, and the Student Y quickly became that home. Older post. I meant to write this post a while ago, but time just seems to be going a little too fast (as it seems to have gone for the entire past few months! After 26 hours of traveling, 3 different flights, and a lot of time staring at my luggage (or my life for the past four months), I finally landed in Minnesota bright and early Sunday morning.
