This is my trip across Britain by bicycle. From John O'Groats to Land's End. Day 01: John O’Groats to Bettyhill. 80km. July 22, 2015. The day started out fantastic. The weather was on my side. I made a deal with a couple from Sweden to take my photo in front of the famous start point, and I would take theirs. It was hard not to take pictures of EVERYTHING! It was all so beautiful. Nice cycling along the national cycle route. Quiet roads with low speeds, and very polite drivers. There were a lot of sheep.
