Janene and Larry: December 2008

http://www.janeneandlarry.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html

Janene and Larry document some of the (un)important milestones in their lives. Tuesday, December 9, 2008. Keyton, Lola, and I spent the day in the house. All I have to say is that if I had to do this every day, I'd saw my head off. Keyton and I took these pictures while Lola slept on the couch. Posted by J. Thomas. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Janene and Larry: April 2009

http://www.janeneandlarry.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html

Janene and Larry document some of the (un)important milestones in their lives. Wednesday, April 1, 2009. First Time for Everything: Larry's Planning Goes Awry. We've decided to spend spring break in Death Valley (again) to enjoy the sun and warm weather. When we arrived, this is what we found:. The next day looked like this:. Despite the impending rain, we followed the almighty plan. We spent all afternoon racing to stay ahead of the storm. When the load got too heavy, Larry mercifully let me stop to rest.

Janene and Larry: Keyton, Lola, and Katie

http://www.janeneandlarry.blogspot.com/2009/05/keyton-and-lola.html

Janene and Larry document some of the (un)important milestones in their lives. Sunday, May 3, 2009. Keyton, Lola, and Katie. We recently took a little trip. Larry doesn't fly much, so he was very excited to get a window seat. When we arrived at our destination, I found myself stranded with two small children. While I cleaned up the dinner dishes, Keyton introduced Lola to his favorite video, the ballet version of "Peter and the Wolf.". Lola worked on her eating skills. Posted by J. Thomas.

When we last saw our hero, he was about to perish in the desert on his birthday. Read on to see how he gets out alive. After a sleepless night dreaming about maps and water, we get up at dawn and backtrack up the canyon. Larry rejoices when he spots the green of a cottonwood tree in a the bottom of the next canyon. This must be Dead Horse Spring. We are saved. The car is a fe...

Janene and Larry: May 2008

http://www.janeneandlarry.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html

Janene and Larry document some of the (un)important milestones in their lives. Sunday, May 25, 2008. Part V: Into Hot Water. With four days left of our vacation, we decide to check out a "secret" hot springs that a park ranger recommended. Turns out it's not so much a secret as it is impossible to find. To find the secret hot springs, first you'll have to drive about 45 miles of washboard dirt road. Hey, where's the hot spring? Larry asks the Joshua Tree. The spring and outlying camping looks like this.

Sisters!: Destination: Provo, UT

http://nataliekatie.blogspot.com/2009/08/destination-provo-ut.html

Monday, August 31, 2009. Destination: Provo, UT. So, in case you don't know, I moved to Greensboro, NC for graduate school. And my moved I mean drove. My dear boyfriend-slave Mike volunteered to drive with me to Provo to pick up Natalie, who accompanied me on the remainder of the trip. We left bright and early for Utah, and I thought about bagging the whole grad school idea when my alarm went off at 3:30am. Mike and I had a great time, though. Clearly. Sisters!: April 2008

http://nataliekatie.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html

Thursday, April 24, 2008. Mission day began at Volunteer Park Cafe, a lovely neighborhood coffee shop that serves up some delicious treats. Mission one: eat copious amounts of food. Then, it was off to the park to take advantage of the windy conditions. Mission two: get the Nemo kite off the ground. Mike clearly needed my help. I found that running around like a lunatic really encouraged the kite to stay in the air. Finally, mike succeeded in the mission, and was flying the Nemo kite with ease.

Monday, August 31, 2009. Destination: Greensboro, NC.eventually. Here we are at the zoo, sitting on top of a giant pig. How precious. My birthday was August 9th, and we had an early celebration. Sisters!: July 2008

http://nataliekatie.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html

Thursday, July 10, 2008. First off, the Seattle zoo is cleaner, more educational, has a greater variety of animals, (all of which seem to be more active and happy), and the zoo has a more convenient layout. Most importantly, however, the Seattle zoo allows you to not only view animals, but to impersonate them as well:. Here I'm a spider, facing troubles with the law for "prowling.". Mike has developed into a beautiful butterfly! And here I am as a zebra. Cute, right? In the end, the Portland zoo obviousl...
