Animals have been my subjects and served as my muse for many years. For me, they are spiritual beings—wise, playful, benevolent, and full of integrity. I enjoy using a wide range of media to create my paintings, such as oil, acrylic, metal leaf, Venetian plaster, graphite powder, and oil stick. The supports for my work are both traditional and non-traditional, including canvas, wood panels, folding screens, acetate, stainless steel, and even household objects such as a bowl or computer mouse pad.
