Friday, October 31, 2014. For Halloween this year we had an angry bird, a referee, a vampire and a skeleton. Dalton wasn't sure he was going to dress up and go trick-or-treating this year, but he had a friend invite him to go, so he did. Jackson loved the mask that he could see through, but on Halloween night he refused to wear it for longer than it took me to take pictures. Jeremy went as Steve from the kids Minecraft game. Tuesday, January 28, 2014. I had high hopes that the kids would all be totally enthralled with the movie and stay and watch the entire thing, but about half-way through the boys decided that they would rather play air-hockey. Still they all stayed downstairs for the full length of the movie so I would say overall it was a success. Even the aftermath was not too bad- pick up cups and vacuum up popcorn. Monday, April 21, 2014. Holly's friend, Avery, invited her to play softball this Spring. Holly thought it sounded like fun so we signed her up. She has been loving going to the practices and has had one game already. We got her a new mitt and a softball to practice with. She has loved going out in the backyard to play with Dalton and dad! Friday, May 30, 2014. Happy Birthday, Dalton! Dalton turned 12 years old today! That is so crazy to me! I'm having mixed emotions about him growing up. I love to see him progress and become a more grown up. Someone I can talk to about normal things, however, I am missing my little boy and the funny things he used to say. Wednesday, May 6, 2015. At his last game, the coach asked Jackson to play catcher. He has never done it before so it was super cute to see him standing behind the batter waiting for the pitch. He needs a little work at catching the ball, but at this age it doesn't really matter. As one of the smallest kids on the team, the catcher gear drowned him but he was still so cute! Friday, April 24, 2015. Thanksgiving Point Tulip Festival. We went to the Tulip Festival while the kids were off track. Dalton, being in Junior High now, still had to go to school and so missed out on the fun. Too many pictures, but I couldn't help myself. Everything was so beautiful! Saturday, November 30, 2013. The kids were thrilled and loved being able to decorate the tree however they wanted to. They slept under the tree many times this year. I'm glad we set up the old tree again. I think we will have to wait for a few more years before we retire it. Starting Out the Season. I hadn't seen him in concert since we sang for him, so this year when I heard them announce on the radio that Kurt Bestor would be doing a free mini concert the day after Thanksgiving I decided I was going.

Tuesday, April 7, 2015. Happy Birthday, Allison! Since Ally's birthday party was set for April 11th (daddy's birthday) we decided to do something special on her actual birthday. I took the girls to see the new Cinderella movie. We don't often go to newly released movies because they are so expensive and we have our great theater setup in the basement.
