Es ist immer etwas ganz Besonderes, wenn man ein Paar am Hochzeitstag begleiten darf und die vielen schönen Momente fotografisch dokumentieren kann. Finding your way through a crowd of people? In fact most of the time it’s not the destination but the journey that is the real adventure the journey to get there. Istanbul a city of brewing, swimming, running, rushing and never sleeping. The rich mix of colours, culture, the fascination of the individual, water, contradictions, the meeting of two continents and finally the people who make the city what it is. In late 2008 and early 2009 I spent four months living and photographing in Istanbul.
