Dr J and Pecos Ev. Saturday, February 23, 2008. Colonel's Gold Under Saddle (Gus). We have a new family member, Colonel's Gold Under Saddle (Gus). He turns two this month (Feb 2008) and has started training. Janet and I rode him last week. He is doing great. We learned that Jack has Cushing's disease and hope he'll make it another summer and then Gus can take his place. Jack has been a good horse. It will be hard to put him down. But so far Jack is doing good. We have enjoyed the horses.

Ye olde Turkey Trot.to the bird house a few houses down, to which the boys and I did a daily pilgrimage during warmer weather. We were very proud of ourselves for braving the cold!
