My artistic practice investigates how the human condition is constructed, affected and altered by its experiencing of physical space. As such, I explore understandings of personal/psychological and collective/social experience of space and spatiality. Incorporated into this is a questioning of how memory influences our perception of space within the realms of design, architecture and aspects of mass media. My paintings and photography are represented by the Flagstaff Gallery in Devonport, New Zealand.
