Tuesday, May 4, 2010. It has been so beautiful outside lately. I have not oil painted in a while and thought it would be a nice break from watercolor. I brought all my supplies downstairs to sit outside on the stone wall in such gorgeous weather to paint. Court joined me. I will miss her. She's going to Germany this summer. a wonderful life: made for the kitchen
http://elizabethcain.blogspot.com/2010/07/made-for-kitchen.html
Sunday, July 4, 2010. Made for the kitchen. Aprons are one of my most favorite things. I love wearing them. Mom gave me a cute, colorful one from Anthropologie. Jane gave me a precious, dainty white one from Brussels. I could wear an apron with any outfit. It spruces it up. Also, it just makes me want to cook even more than I already do. This is my life.well, maybe one day when I can just cook all day. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Bob Bobson on Sports. View my complete profile. Made for the kitchen.

a wonderful life: a. e. wilder
http://elizabethcain.blogspot.com/2010/07/e-wilder.html
Thursday, July 1, 2010. My life is back. I have internet and a computer that works after months on end. As I'm loving a computer that actually works I ran into a. e. wilder. On etsy. I absolutely love these little 3" or 6" wooden hoops with embroidered linen. These are perfect little reminders of wonderful people and wonderful days. I think of Claire Settle. When I ever want or try to sew. She is the master. These wall hangings would be the cutest gifts at a baby shower or anywhere for that matter.
