http://westhofffamily.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Stories of my family and the books I read and want to comment on! To be a writer. Sunday, January 25, 2015. My kids are growing up, which is a good and a bad thing. Ben is already having problems with kids at school showing him bad things. So, we talked and I introduced him to my church bookshelf. He's already halfway through the first one. He's an amazing reader and is great at recognizing right and wrong! I think she's amazing though! Cecilia is already in size 5's! Boy cup, not for her. Joshua is in t...

Being a momma and lovin' it!: Home again!
http://westhofffamily.blogspot.com/2015/07/home-again.html
Stories of my family and the books I read and want to comment on! To be a writer. Sunday, July 5, 2015. Monday we went to Yellowstone and saw Painting Pots and Old Faithful and other geysers and some waterfalls. We saw almost no wildlife (2 chipmunks and a bird). Our kiddos didn't even mind the sulphur smell-it made them want eggs! I can safely say that I never want to do that again. We paid $30 for the privilege of driving around forever to find parking spots and the traffic coming out, ridiculous!

Wednesday, 31 December 2014. Thirty years ago and thirty years ahead. Part of my work in progress is set thirty years ahead. Musing about the changes that might happen in the next three decades, it seems useful to consider what has changed since 1984. Things we thought okay in 1984 we don't think okay now. Smoking in bars, restaurants and other people's houses. Dog excrement on pavements - we didn't like it, but grudgingly accepted that to a dog, the whole of outdoors was a potential lavatory. Other poss...
