I tried very hard but to end the whole of yesterday at work with a horrible throat inflammation and a slight fever. so i struggled my way through with my 14 five year old nonsensical kids with my "sexy" voice. Oh dear, ms xuan is not feeling well. What happen to you ms xuan? My throat is feeling very painful and i don't feel well. Then ms xuan you better drink a lot of water and eat a lot of fruits. God works in many ways. being in this service has brought me new perspectives, greater understanding, a closer walk with God and being in His family, knowing myself better and many more. like i was asked today, what was the greatest takeback through the past 3 years? It would be learning to see things from a child's perspective. the childlike faith, the innocent fear of insecurity, the joy and laughers of simplicity, the inquisitivity and ever-active mind.

Thursday, May 31, 2007. Reality strikes me and i realised that being a preschool teacher is tougher that i thought. Just taking time to know the kids ain't enough, i've to manage their temprements, know the hows and whats to control them. not to mention doing up lesson plans every week and planning daily activities and doing up evaluations. besides, there's still parents in the picture. And it doesn't help when i know that the kids i'm going to take are a pretty difficult bunch. Please cast away my fears...

Thursday, February 28, 2008. BUT I CANNOT WASH AWAY MY NOSE! I helped out in a colleague's class since she was not feeling well in the evening. i took over those who were having dinner in her class and i was MORE THAN HAPPY to do so. Reason being, she was one of those having dinner! Chantelle, please wash your face alright? Rubs her face really hard*. Monday, April 30, 2007. Hh where is the shuttlecock? Is it landing yet? Okayys okayys. the picture is kinda dark i know. anyways, we went to play badminton @ yishun sports complex from 7pm to 8.30pm. err. its a long story as to why we went to yishun. but still, it was a good activity together. well, i guess we'll all start our week tmr with muscle aches. haha.
