My name is Jan Hjelmtveit and I live in. Norway. I first became interested in photography around the age of 11, and from there on it's become a relentless hobby for me throughout my life. At first I used simple cameras, but in 1969 I bought my first. Camera, and since 1977 I've utilized an assortment of Nikon cameras. I particularly enjoy to capture nature and people in their element, so this is a recurring theme in many of my photographs. Architecture is an additional favorite theme of mine.
