Justin Neitzey: Know When To Fold 'Em
http://justinneitzey.blogspot.com/2014/04/know-when-to-fold-em.html
My life. My experiences. Know When To Fold 'Em. It was a surprise to receive a request to go to McDonald's for food when, in fact, we're pretty sure he's never seen a McDonald's commercial (yes, really), doesn't remember ever being in a place called McDonald's, and had either of the previous statements been true, would not want to go there to eat things. But some kid wouldn't let him play with their Skylanders toy. Ball Pets. Daddy? That was the commercial that was on. Labels: diary of a father.

Justin Neitzey: Our Foray Into Sports
http://justinneitzey.blogspot.com/2013/09/our-foray-into-sports.html
My life. My experiences. Our Foray Into Sports. Up until now most of our activities our son has taken part in have been solo sort of affairs like swimming, dance classes, playing the bath tub; the kind of activities that you really always come out the winner (unless you splash water out of that tub, which is a total fail). Please remember, future coaches of children: the lessons you teach follow them home. Orange cones exist spiritually in every object in the house. But I digress. RSS and Email Updates.

The Scenic Route: April 2011
http://rvtrippers.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
The world is a book and those who do not travel read only a page.St. Augustine. Friday, April 15, 2011. Just a Trip to Visit Family Spring 2011. This was a short trip to visit family members in Northern Virginia area. Going north many cars passed us on I-95 with Canadian tags, then a car hauler passed with all the cars having Canadian tags! Were all the snowbirds going north for the year? Traffic was heavy all 835 miles home, mostly trucks and cars, few RVs. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

The world is a book and those who do not travel read only a page.St. Augustine. Thursday, October 22, 2009. Nearly Rained Out in Gatlinburg. The weather may have been wet, but we had a good time with Patricia, Bob, BJ, and David at the Westgate Great Smoky Mountain resort last week. The rooms were wonderful with fireplaces, hot tubs, balconies, kitchens(ugh! We returned to David's and BJ's in Clinton, SC, to get our RV on Sunday. Monday we left to head up to Front Royal and Luray to visit family for ...

http://rvtrippers.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
The world is a book and those who do not travel read only a page.St. Augustine. Sunday, May 23, 2010. Off to Nova Scotia and Newfoundland, hopefully! We're on the road now headed toward the Atlantic provinces of Canada by way of northern Virginia to see relatives first. Except for the first day, the weather has been cool with colder nights. Today can't seem to make up it's mind to be sunny or rainy. My sister's church is suppose to have its annual picnic today at 4 pm Or maybe not. Links to this post.

The Scenic Route: June 2009
http://rvtrippers.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
The world is a book and those who do not travel read only a page.St. Augustine. Thursday, June 4, 2009. The Last Couple of Days in Niagara. After driving to the Fallsview Parking lot south of everything in Niagara, we parked the RV, got out and walked about a block to the bus stop where a PeopleMover bus was parked and waited and waited (about 20 minutes) for the driver to come back. We then found out the bus was not coming to this parking lot for regular runs until June 1! Links to this post. After cros...

The world is a book and those who do not travel read only a page.St. Augustine. Saturday, May 31, 2014. I think I've gotten mixed up about our route! Without reliable wifi available on any kinda dependable schedule, I got ahead of myself on the postings. This little building was used in the late 1950's as a 'spotter' for incoming enemy aircraft or fired missiles. Then we entered Idaho. Links to this post. Thursday, May 29, 2014. Still on US 26, we passed through Casper and headed to Riverton and Lander t...

The Scenic Route: Idaho ... I think
http://rvtrippers.blogspot.com/2014/05/idaho-i-think.html
The world is a book and those who do not travel read only a page.St. Augustine. Friday, May 23, 2014. Idaho . I think. I'm having so much trouble locating accessable WiFi that this might be the last post til we get to VA at my sister's. I'm in McD's right now (Wed, May 20) and therefore do not have my maps and notes with me. We arrived at the American Falls view point to find that these falls are now behind the dam which had been built after the 1919 drought. When we ascended the road to the view of the ...

The world is a book and those who do not travel read only a page.St. Augustine. Wednesday, June 11, 2014. The Rest of the Oregon Trip 2014. Boringest road in the US! In eastern North Dakota, we saw lots of ducks and geese in the many, many marshes, puddles, ponds, lakes, rivers, and even in the ditches alongside the roadway. Then we got to Itasca State Park in Minnesota where the mosquitoes and midges about carried us off. It got worse in Michigan! We stayed on US 23 til it met US 20 in Ohio which we the...
