George's in Moz!: April 2014
http://georgesinmoz.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 7, 2014. Another Sunday in Mozambique. This is a picture of the church and congregation. Tim praying with some people after the service. The outside of the Church. An Update on the Jurnee Saga. I managed to capture of few more Jurnee moments. She really enjoyed the hot fudge sauce, we had left too close to the edge of the counter. She got into daddy's drawer with all his money and carried throughout the house. We have since then put it where she can't get it. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

George's in Moz!: May 2015

Thursday, May 14, 2015. An Answer to Prayer. Most of you probably know about our car situation and our emails about raising funds to purchase a new car. We are so grateful for the way everyone responded to our need and it was such a good experience for our kids as they watched God provide. We want to say thank you to everyone who played a part in this, from prayer to giving.. We asked the kids to write their thoughts and tell what they learned so I am including snippets from their letters.

George's in Moz!: Back to life, back to reality...

Friday, March 6, 2015. Back to life, back to reality. We had two nights in Washington DC before we headed to Africa. We took one day and did a whirlwind of activities. We visited the Ford theater and happened to be there on the one day they had the box open where Lincoln was shot. The kids studied the life of Lincoln in our homeschool last year and were so excited to see where he was assassinated. . We also visited the Museum of Natural History, which was pretty incredible. Wow, still no car?

George's in Moz!: February 2014
http://georgesinmoz.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
Monday, February 10, 2014. We are still alive! Request for Prayer – a New Door Swinging Open. We now really need your prayer for guidance and God’s favor as we need to put some meat on the bones. There are a few questions that need to be addressed in starting a school here and now. Most of these questions revolve around mode or style that the school takes. How do we create a school that is not “western” in style, so that it will teach and encourage learning in its cultural context? God is definitely at w...

Friday, May 23, 2014. How long is long enough? I am so pent up with frustration right now that I thought maybe if I blogged about it and looked at it from a different point of view, it would be more funny than frustrating. (also I apologize for the random pictures of Hong Kong inserted, but I cannot get them to move for the life of me). 65279;. Thursday, May 8, 2014. George's in Moz!: October 2013
http://georgesinmoz.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, October 16, 2013. Her first day with us. So tiny and sweet.. Feeding her the bottle, which was an adventure, because she violently attacked the bottle at feeding time. Play time, which was pretty much anytime, it wasn't nap time or feeding time. Getting a little bit bigger.. Obi, our cat, was not fond of Niassa. This was the only time he ever allowed her within 10 feet from her and it only lasted long enough to snap a picture real quick. Her favorite sleeping spot, at Traeger's head. The kid...
