The ramblings of an almost OCD mother and missionary in Europe. Tuesday, March 13, 2012. Germany and Austria, a perspective. Since I feel an obligation to the few people who follow my blog and linked my page to theirs, here is a post. Seeing as Austrians speak German (albeit a "funny" version) and that it neighbors Germany and the cultures are very similar, the two are also rather different. The schooling is also quite different. I think here, the kids have about 4 days of school and one day of fun!

The ramblings of an almost OCD mother and missionary in Europe. Sunday, April 18, 2010. A while back, I blogged about some new, interesting yogurts. On the market. Here are the pics from my kids trying them. Popcorn here is generally sweet, like kettle corn, so the popcorn yogurt was pretty sweet. I didn't have any takers on the corn yogurt! I used to love to shop (except for groceries) in the states to snatch up great bargains. I miss Target and even Walmart, because we have only one store like it and it is not convenient. This book delves into the many influences that have brought Oprah to where she is today. It is very insightful and thorough. I found most of the information intriguing but got bogged down with so much information. She has so many influences and personalities in her life that it is no wonder she has such conflicting and confusing beliefs. This is an insightful and informative read.

Queenswood
It`s about my time in the bording scool in Queenswood. Friday, 25 July 2008. Today it is my last day in Queenswood. I`m happy to leave but I`ll miss some students. I think it was a great time here in Queenswood and I really enjoyed it but I`m happy to go home. The best things were the excursions because they were always interessting and good fun. Tonight we`ll have a big party to say good by to the others and then we`ll wath a film with our house Waller. We woun`t go to sleep tonight! Monday, 21 July 2008.
