Jan at the Bookstore! Wednesday, August 25, 2010. I love Stuart Woods' books starring Stone Barrington. As the main character, and this one was no exception. Stone only slept with one woman in this book, very unusual for him. Why he doesn't have some dreaded disease is more than I can understand. Jan's Opinion: Helen Mirren plays a woman who is trying to recover her family's possessions seized by the Nazi's in Austria during WW-II. Ryan Reynolds plays her attorney. They both were excellent in their roles but I did dose off a couple of times as they kept switching back and forth from present time to the past. It was just OK, would not want to see it again.
