BYEs BOOs: Sweetpod #3
http://byesboos.blogspot.com/2011/12/sweetpod-3.html
Homeschooling, crafting, and keeping up with life. Tuesday, December 13, 2011. Sometimes inspiration comes when we least expect it, and not always when we think we have time. Time has been of the essence lately as we are trying to get settled and using every extra spare minute doing "house stuff," as I research the best doors, appliances, or a building permit form. The thought came."you could totally make her a SweetPod. I had all the buckles, webbing, and foam, and even a SweetPod tag from Jessica.

Crystal Oftedahl Johnson: An Outdoor Study
http://oftedahl.blogspot.com/2013/11/an-outdoor-study.html
Demons in the Corner. Thursday, November 21, 2013. You ask naively. Well, I did- and this is what it looked like:. Now you think I made up all of those colors. Actually, they were there, and I toned some of them down a bit and intensified some of them. But there were some colors there to begin with, and they didn't show up on the camera at all. Case in point, if you ever try to compliment an artist with "Wow- it looks just like a photo! Yes obviously I made up the creek. Bad move? Should I take it out?

Crystal Oftedahl Johnson: The Gatekeeper
http://oftedahl.blogspot.com/2015/05/the-gatekeeper.html
Demons in the Corner. Friday, May 15, 2015. It's hard to describe the kind of childish urge to run and climb that happens when I get up in the middle of a landscape like this. Maybe you feel like a kid when the rocks and cliffs are suddenly dwarfing you like huge parental figures. On a good day I restrain myself and paint instead, so the painting can remind me of the moment there was something to discover. just around the corner. Labels: crystal oftedahl johnson. http://oftedahl.blogspot.com/2015/05/monumental-sunrise.html
Demons in the Corner. Saturday, May 30, 2015. This is the view from my driveway at sunrise. I've been told that when you go jogging, it's a good idea to never stop abruptly in the middle of the run. Oh, well! How can you pass up a photo of something like this? I would have loved to stop and paint with an easel instead, but being there, feeling the crisp morning air, and watching the live photo burn wash over the distant rocky cliffs and half of the sky helped me remember enough to paint it later. Self-au...

http://oftedahl.blogspot.com/2015/06/summer-15-in-montana.html
Demons in the Corner. Tuesday, June 23, 2015. Summer '15 in Montana. Today I finished painting #2 since we got here - an 8" x 10" of one of Kalispell, MT's first houses- the Conrad Mansion. I did this one from a photo at the table while my girls colored strawberry shortcake coloring books and the youngest tried to improve my painting with an all too accessible palette knife. Demons in the Corner. Tuesday, November 26, 2013. Make Your Own Wire Picture Hanging System For Display Panels. But still spent most of the night hunting for the correct terms for the parts and pieces so I could order them. Here's what I found:. Here's how I did it:. Cut the wire rope into 6' or 7' lengths with wire cutters. 3 Place the loop you've just made over one end of an "s" hook and use pliers to bend that end of the hook closed. 4 Slide a terminal lug (connector/conductor) onto the other end, the...
