Seems like the monument has been carelessly painted white…. and yet it didn’t fail to assert its majesty especially against the wide blue sky. It would be great to see more tributes like this especially in public places. i am hopeful. Ps i don’t know if this monument has a name, i didn’t find any (not that i looked for it). ONZE JONGENS TERUG UIT DEN VREEMDE. We zijn weer thuis. Na bijna drie maanden Portugal parkeerden we een volgeladen auto voor ons huis en constateerden dat er zo op het eerste gezicht niets veranderd leek. De sleutel paste nog in het slot, blindelings vonden we het lichtknopje in de gang, liepen door opgeruimde kamers en snoven de vertrouwde huislucht in.
