Being a Virtual Assistant has many benefits. I work with wonderful clients that keep me busy and challenged. I learn something new every day. I get to work from home and am still able to travel, as I can bring my work with me. But the best part of being a Virtual Assistant is the other Virtual Assistants I meet. I recently had the opportunity to go to a VA meet-up in Portland, Oregon. I met with Tess Strand of Virtual Assistant Forums.

My laptop has been out and I’ve grabbed every minute possible to add words to the page. I’m now at 35,019 words. (Less than 15K to go! At some point last week my six-year-old son asked me, as we were walking up our front steps, “Mama, how many words have you written in your novel? One word at a time. You go, go, go!
