The Billy Martin Family: March 2009
http://stayhomedadsrock.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
The Billy Martin Family. Sunday, March 29, 2009. I figured it was about time for us to update our blog, it's been awhile! On Sunday, Billy blessed Baby Rebekah. He did so well! Both of my older children bore their testimonies today, how proud did that make me? I would challenge anyone reading this to take a good, hard look at their lives and in your next prayer, thank your Heavenly Father for all the amazing things you have and experience, I know I will! The Billy Martin Family: My First Race
http://stayhomedadsrock.blogspot.com/2010/04/my-first-race.html
The Billy Martin Family. Monday, April 19, 2010. This past weekend I ran my first race. I ran a 1/2 marathon (13.1 miles) in Salt Lake City. It was awesome! The altitude was quite a challenge, but for the most part, I'm very happy with my results. I came in 1204 out of 4261 1/2 marathoners. My time was 1 hour, 55 minutes, 51 seconds. My pace was 8 minutes 50 seconds. In my age/sex division I came in 74th out of 435. My awesome Utah family came to cheer me on! I have another convert to running. This is Em...

Amy WW: November 2012
http://amydubdub.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, November 29, 2012. With my good Mr. Dub out of town for the last week I have been spending my nights laying in bed listening to the burglars rattling around downstairs. And waiting for them to come upstairs. You know, so that it (the battle) can finally start. The suspense is killing me. My normal routine being out of whack because I don't have him here leaving and coming home at the usual times, and I'm left to lay awake at night and imagine things. I like pretty or interesting rocks. Some...

The Billy Martin Family: June 2009
http://stayhomedadsrock.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
The Billy Martin Family. Tuesday, June 30, 2009. Emma finished this weekend with her first Taekwondo. Tournament. I think it was more difficult on her parents than it was on her. On Saturday she did not place in musical weapons. We were very upset because of the effort she has put into practicing but tried hard to be positive and upbeat. We really tried to focus on letting Emma know what a great practice this would be for future tournaments and that she should have as much fun as possible! I know that yo...

Saturday, January 12, 2013. I'm taking a break from blogging for a while. I don't know if this will be a permanent vacation or if I will be back. I find that I have nothing left to say that is fun or funny or insightful, and that I need more of a "real life" life. I thought about shutting my blog down completely but I'm not ready to do that. Tuesday, March 12, 2013. I tried out my newly-made wonder oven today for the first time to cook a pot of dried pinto beans. I:. Picked through and washed the dried beans,. Soaked them overnight,. Drained and rinsed them,. Put them into my cooking pot with fresh water, a little salt and some pepper,. Brought them to a full, rolling boil and boiled them for 15 minutes with the lid on the pot,. Transferred the hot pot and hot lid to the wonder oven,. Immediately put the cover on top of the wonder oven,.
