https://japan1000.wordpress.com/2009/11/30/68-the-workers-clothing-stores
1000 Things I like about Japan. The title says it all. Laquo; 67. The sweet potato man. 69 A clear day during rainy season. 68 The workers’ clothing stores. But when I say “clothing” I’m talking about some very Japanesey items, baggy pants, Amish-looking hats, geta. Sandals, toe boots. Sleeve protectors, gloves. All great stuff for working outdoors and being totally covered up – impervious to sun and insects. They also have some more familiar items, like jeans, sneakers and rain boots. From your own site.

1000 Things I like about Japan. The title says it all. Archive for March, 2009. 61 Japanese toilets are . . . March 24, 2009. Starting to disappear. Now, I couldn’t put that in the title because it seems to conflict with my earlier post about liking Japanese toilets. Well . . . I do. But . . . I find that lately whenever I find a “Western” one I am relieved (no pun intended! Should I have said “happy”? And yet I also feel strangely sad as yet another distinctive thing about Japan passes into history.

1000 Things I like about the USA. By an American living in Japan. Archive for June, 2008. June 26, 2008. Highway signs in the USA are so. I’m talking about those signs that point you to the next exit or two, you know, the ones that are usually green. Dave and Barb Bindewald. Monday, May 20, 2013. The renovation project is finished! The team did an amazing job. Everything looks great. One of many discussions about how it will all work out. The stove we ordered was bigger than the one that it replaced! Turns out the old one was RV size. So we had to remove the little cabinet and counter top that was on the far right to make room for new stove. Carpet squares going down. Mike and Pastor Dedachi. Waiting on gas company to install valve for new stove.

Dave and Barb Bindewald. Sunday, January 6, 2013. A few more pics from Pittsburgh. We ended up getting 8-10 inches of snow. The start of another snowman. Beautiful at night, too. That longest icicle was between 3 and 4 feet long! Dec 29 is both Dave and Rinny's and our anniversary. We walked to a nearby restaurant and had a wonderful time. I have been in a cheeseburger deficit here in Japan and worked on fixing that. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Coalition for Christian Outreach. Lexing...

Dave and Barb Bindewald. Thursday, December 27, 2012. Some Days are Different than Others. Hopefully the settlement will be enough to find something similar. She loved that Camry! We got some prescriptions, rented a car, went to where the car was taken and cleaned it out (were told by all involved it was most likely totaled) and were on our way, 4 hours late. But so grateful to the Lord because it could have been so much worse. Links to this post. Monday, December 24, 2012. It's been pretty cold! Everyon...

Thursday, November 23, 2006. We hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving! Posted by carlymay at 8:20 AM. Tuesday, November 14, 2006. Sorry about that. a picture with no explanation can be very confusing. Matthew and I aren't getting a puppy, although that would be alot of fun! We have some good friends who actually breed mastiffs, they are amazing dogs, and get to be SO big. They have recently had a couple of different litters born, and I just had to take a photo, they were too cute. So cuddle and cute.

Tuesday, October 31, 2006. Best stew of the year. Every year our church has a reformation party. Every one gets together at "The Marsh Farm", most of the kids are dressed up as super heros, princesses, pumpkins and pairates. we play games, take hay rides, horse rides, go through corn mazes, and eat the best stew of the year while sitting around a great big bon fire. What makes the stew so great? Posted by carlymay at 8:01 AM. Up on a windy mountain. Posted by carlymay at 4:57 AM. Monday, October 30, 2006.
