Japan for a year. Wednesday, February 23, 2011. I Guess we are really going. Well we leave on Saturday to look for a place to live. Floor plans show that we will be living in smaller accommodations then we are use too but I guess that means less to clean! Monday, February 21, 2011. The Paper Work is Endless. Japan for a year. Saturday, March 10, 2012. For people who like to shop, it is a wonderful place. They have stores from the Gap to Prada. It is set near the bottom of Mt. Fuji so the view is spectacular. They also have many restaurants and a little playground for kids. I bought Julia her first backpack so she is ready for hiking now. Japan for a year. Sunday, March 18, 2012. Ryugashidou - 竜ヶ岩洞 - Cool Caves in Hamamatsu. Five weeks to go! Little tunnel Julia and I started down and she freaked out and turned back. It was just her size so I can't say I was disappointed when she wanted to turn back. Right behind us was a huge waterfall coming down from the top somewhere. There was a little cover so you would not get wet but stairs were wet. This was called the Phoenix Cathedral. Sitting outside by the pond. Saturday, March 10, 2012.

We also set up a slingbox so we could watch TV over there. There is not much of a choice to get TV unless you want to watch Japanese only. This is all stuff we had to do ahead of time. All scarves, fingerless gloves and hats have come out quite well, but I apparently have hit my peak.
