A これ は えんぴつ です。 B それ は ボーレペン です。 C あれ は シャープペンシル です。 それ は なん ですか。 The structure above ask for the N in the sentence. It means: What is this/that? And the answer: It’s N . A これ は なん ですか。 B それ は なん ですか。 C あれ は なん ですか。 それ は N ですか。 The structure above ask for: Is this/that a N? Yes, it’s a N. No, it’s not a N. A これ は じどうしゃ ですか。 B それ は ノート ですか。 C あれ は かさ ですか。

Use after name for everyone polite way. Informal to call a little girl. Informal to call a little boy. People (like english, japanese, etc to describe someone from which country). Teacher (can be use for doctor and other job higher education people). Teacher (word describe a job, not use for calling). Employee (in a company).
