My six months in Japan. Sunday, August 16, 2009. Obon vacation- part 1. For now, you'll have to rely on my brief description of the past eight days. The same time indicated on my ticket. I don't think the efficiency of the Japanese train system will ever cease to amaze me. Hmmit seems I've written much more than I intended, and I'm only on day one! Stay tuned for further updates! My six months in Japan. Wednesday, July 29, 2009. Robert, Chelsea, Matt, and I went to Sunshine City in Ikebukuro on Monday to just hang out and enjoy the atmosphere. Sunshine City is a highly themed (and I really mean highly. This place is themed as well as Rainforest Cafe) retail complex, complete with shops and restaurants.
