Saturday, April 14, 2007. Midtown NYC (45th Street/between Lexington and Third) - Highly acclaimed by Zagats, although we found the noodles a bit heavy. Tonkotsu (pork) ramen and Shoyu (soy) ramen the main dishes, with flavorful soup. Service was a bit slow and spotty. Restaurant location so close to Grand Central Station probably guarantees steady traffic, so food quality appears to be below other noodle places in town. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Sunday, April 8, 2007. Men Kui Tei (Ramen Noodles). Number one ramen noodle shops in NYC! Two locations, in mid-town West (60 W. 56th St) and E. Village (63 Cooper Square), although I prefer the mid-town location. Probably one of the best lunch bargains, where you can typically have an excellent meal for less than $30 for 2 people.
