Thursday, October 23, 2008. 160;(How are you? 160;I'm fine too. Thank you for asking. . I've had an interesting mix of work, fun, and, er.well, quite moving experiences. 160;The pic of me waving the flag is at one of my Chugakko (Junior High) sports festival.I was on a team called the BLUE FIGHTERS - the other teams were named Yellow Smiley and Pink Devil. In English! 160;Imagine you're in a wheelbarrow race against the dreaded YELLOW SMILEYS! So what's it like? 160;But I tried hard to! Me neither. '...

Japan: Awa Odori!

Monday, August 18, 2008. 160;And I thought I was a lowly teacher! Turns out, I'm the Mayor! 160;This has inspired me to do some extra work to earn this treatment! This is the traditional Yukata, which doesn't mean "Robe one kicks butt in" But rather "Summer Garment" - The fans serve as dance bling as well as coping with 90 degrees and dancing! 160;Yes, the hotel room there has paper walls and a tatami mat floor - very common here. 160;Always look on the bright side, if I can move my neck to find it.

The Cooper Family: Wettest hour

http://cooperplace.blogspot.com/2009/11/wettest-hour.html

Monday, November 9, 2009. I can pretty much guarantee you that the single wettest hour of Saturday was from 10:45 to 11:45 AM. Now, how would a mom know such a thing? I bet you can guess: soccer. From the moment we left our home until the moment we got back to the van. As usual, I didn't have my camera with me, but these are Em's clothes after the fact. The only reason you can see any gray on her shorts is that she wore her rain jacket, which hangs pretty long,. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Lookin...

The Cooper Family: January 2009

http://cooperplace.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html

Thursday, January 22, 2009. Ah the return of Runny Nose Season. If you have toddlers, you know the routine: they know how to use a kleenex, but it's a heck of a lot easier to use a sleeve or (gotta love this one). the neck of their shirt. Over and over I hear myself saying, "Don't use your shirt, go get a kleenex! And she usually stops everything to recall where she was last playing that she may have left her prized possession of the day - - the personal, private kleenex box. Tuesday, January 20, 2009.

The Cooper Family: January 2010

http://cooperplace.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html

Thursday, January 7, 2010. On Tuesday Emily and I went to the Recycling Center in Woodinville. Here is Emily's assessment of the field trip:. It was really cool and I liked seeing everything. These pictures show how much recycling piles up in this facility in 2 days. I hope you enjoy these pictures. I also learned that if you find little spots on your cardboard cereal boxes, it means that something that was recyled didn't get cleaned out properly. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
