The Crockett Family: April 2013
http://nycrocketts.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, April 16, 2013. It seemed like we celebrate all weekend.because we did! Friday night was her party (see previous post). Saturday morning Briar got donuts in bed (she couldn't decide which one she wanted, so she picked both! I think the practices were okay, but she had so much fun at her first game! I'm glad she's proving me wrong! Then we went to my niece's birthday party at a jump house and celebrated with her and 20 other kids. It was a fun, if busy weekend. Here's a bit about Briar at 7:.

The Crockett Family: March 2014
http://nycrocketts.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, March 22, 2014. January was nice and busy - just how I like it. I tend to dislike Januarys - after the hustle and bustle and warm feelings of the holidays are over and all we're left with is cold and dreary weather without much to look forward to. But this January wasn't bad between ski trips and spelling bees, birthdays and such. We spent some time prepping for this little sweetheart's birthday. Every day with her is a fun little adventure. Avery participated in the school wide spelling bee ag...

The Crockett Family: February 2013

Saturday, February 23, 2013. I was feeling a bit overwhelmed by all the projects I've been wanting to do on the house. So much space, so many rooms, so many projects, and so little time and money! So I decided to make a plan (everything good starts with a plan right? And to try and get one large or two small projects done a month. That way it's easier on the budget and our sanity! For January my goal was to get the family room finished (mostly just the accessorizing and pillows), which I did! I added in ...

The Crockett Family: May 2013
http://nycrocketts.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Wednesday, May 22, 2013. I still can't believe it - Ten years ago I had the privelage of becoming a mother. My sweet baby girl is now a decade old! We've both come a long way in 10 years. Somedays it feels like just yesterday that I held that sweet baby in my arms, and sometimes it feels like she's just always been around. To celebrate, Avery wanted a party with some of her closest friends. We started her actual birthday with breakfast in bed. She requested banana bread and a smoothie:. It was a lot of f...

Wednesday, February 05, 2014. Halloween was a blast as usual. Finley wanted to be a witch and picked out her own costume. I had all the pieces except for the dress which we found at ARC. Briar wanted to be a 'Sassy' Queen of hearts. She had something of a vision that I tried my best to recreate. She was happy, so I must have done the job :). And Avery wanted to be a 50's girl again…and luckily the skirt still fit! So it was a pretty easy year for costumes and all the girls were happy. They had fun passin...

Sunday, September 08, 2013. Summer Stuff - August! The rest of August.hmmm.where did it go? These were the 'dog days of summer' I think. Literally. I think the girls swipe my phone every day and take pics of the puppy. I never know what I'll find on there. Finley's bed head.a daily look around here. Our first Mommy Daughter book group.had the girls eating like dogs from their bowls. They loved it of course. But, free tennis lessons were a bonus. And a free balloon octopus! And second for this cutie:.

Monday, March 03, 2014. Thanksgiving Trip 2013 part 1. For Thanksgiving last year we gave into my wanderlust and we hit the road for a good old fashioned road trip. The girls are getting so much older and better at travel and we've found that we all enjoy road tripping.maybe not necessarily the part where we are on the actual road, but we LOVE the destinations and exploring new places, having adventures as a family and creating lasting memories. Panoramic breathtaking views everywhere! This one was hidde...

The Crockett Family: December Part 2
http://nycrocketts.blogspot.com/2014/03/december-part-2.html
Sunday, March 16, 2014. We had a pretty low key holiday break. We slept in. We baked. We shopped and wrapped gifts. We spent time with friends and family, and we tried to just enjoy each other and the season. Spending time with cousins is always great! Especially when they want to play dolls with you! I hardly took any pictures or video over christmas. I really just was in the moment and enjoying my children, so I don't have much in the way of pictures. Sunday, March 16, 2014. In Case you Missed it.

Friday, March 14, 2014. After the Grand Canyon we headed out down south and east - our final destination Show Low. But on the way there we made a few more stops! The first stop was Sunset Crater by Flagstaff. I had read online that this was a great place to stop and get out of the car, hike around and see the lava fields, etc. I think it would have been had it not been so snowy! After the snow fields we continued on out of our way (because really, why not? There were some fantastic views and so much gorg...
