Tuesday, January 11, 2011. We are suppose to find out on the 31st what we're having, so I'll let you know. Christmas was great this year, now that Chase is getting older he really understands that Santa concept, it has made the holiday even more enjoyable. Jared and I had to watch ourselves though, neither one of us ever had younger siblings that we couldn't ruin the surprise for, so it became a challenge at times. I don't know the lesson I'm to learn from this, but it has really made me take a step back...

Just the usual synesthesia. February 26, 2018. Usually, when I write a song, I end up writing about at least two subjects, one a metaphor for the other and sometimes with an ambiguous wavering between the two. I’m not sure why I do it this way, but my current theory is that, in the play between two subjects, they illuminate each other in a way that couldn’t have happened if I had just approached them one at a time. We’re all there is. Of all that was. Couldn’t keep that reckless pace. This is the room.
