Then Owen had double ear infections which didn't clear up on the first antibiotic so he had to switch to a stronger one and during that healing process he had roseola. And Suzanne had shingles. Friday, October 28, 2011. To celebrate Nevada Day, we planted a tree in our front yard! Okay, so we didn't do it to celebrate Nevada Day; it just happened to be a good day for Dwyane to dig the hole. It is his little baby - he picked it out, did all the research, and did all the "labor" too! He even named it already: Red. It is an October Glory red maple. Tuesday, January 31, 2012. I bought these shirts for the kids for Christmas, and today they all decided to wear them. Had to get a picture! I have been really enjoying teaching this class for 4-6 year olds, called Let's Play Music. Julianna comes to my class on Tuesdays (which explains why she wanted to wear her shirt today), and Gabriel comes on Thursdays. Sunday, February 5, 2012. It's not really a surprise, but the kids keep getting bigger! Rebekah's toes almost reached the end of her toddler bed, and Benjamin is nearing the end of his time in the crib. So we upgraded the girls room to bunkbeds and a better shelf/storage system. Rebekah loves her big bed, and that it even has a roof on it! And of course Julianna is in heaven up on the top bunk. I'm glad that I have Dwyane to do all the hard labor for us! Sunday, May 29, 2011. We celebrated our May birthdays with a little bug and garden party on Saturday. While Eric, Marc, and Taylor were busy planting Mom's garden, the kiddies worked on decorating and planting their own flower boxes. We had a bug scavenger hunt, girls against the boys. They had 15 minutes to collect bugs. Real bugs were worth 10 points each, and plastic bugs were worth 1 point. Boys: 46, Girls: 44. Here we are enjoying some worms as a treat.
