Just the 4 of us. The Artsy Blog of a DIY family. Tuesday, September 9, 2014. It has been a really long time since I've blogged. Like almost a year. With my kids getting older I've been able to start exercising back on a level that I used to before I had kids. We got a pass to our local Rec center and I have started lifting heavy again and I love it! Monday: Wake up a 7am and go to the skatepark with Max for an hour. Walk the kids to school at 9:00 (half mile each way). Mow my mom's lawn. Friday: Wake up...

Just the 4 of us. The Artsy Blog of a DIY family. Tuesday, April 9, 2013. Found this awesome shirt at D.I. for pennies, took in the sides (each 2 inches) and hemmed the sleeves up about 2 inches. It's my new favorite shirt! Links to this post. Tuesday, April 2, 2013. First I made Max a pair of pants out of a pair of Jarrett's old cords. .using the existing fly and buttons and pockets. A little space about our growing family. Thursday, December 12, 2013. 2013 was a year that the Brown side of the family all got together for the thanksgiving meal and festivities. At dinner, (which was held at Erica's house), Benjamin was sitting next to his cousin, Conrad Archibald, who was not interested in eating all the food that had been given to him. He instead attempted to put the unwanted food onto Benjamin's plate, who was also not interested in the discarded food. Dave and Carissa Beeston.

We made "pinkalicious" cupcakes today while Benjamin and James recited the story from memory (with very few prompts! So glad that he is potty trained now and we seem to officially be out of diapers! Three Day Weekend
Monday, December 29, 2008. Home from the Holidays. It was wonderful seeing Chloe and the rest of the Knoxes. So now we have returned to Chicago and work. The move comes Thursday. Oh, and just because we're both excited I'll tell you about some of our favorite Christmas gifts! I would promise pictures of our Christmas but we forgot the camera on top of the fridge. We're actually looking to buy a new one and hopefully that will encourage us to take more pictures. Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!
