Tuesday, February 5, 2013. You guys. There was some kid with a real live turtle shell on his back. SERIOUSLY. Here's a link to all the pictures of this kid: Turtle Shell Boy. In case you don't want to click through, here's a pic I found:. Source: The Huffington Post. Crazy I showed this pic to Sanna and Kim tonight after we had gone and tried on bridesmaids dresses. (P.S? Here's why it must be real: One? This kid is crazy adorable. Two? HE HAS A TURTLE SHELL. Nothing that awesome could be fake. Other Blo...

pharon square: A Moving Experience
http://pharonsquare.blogspot.com/2015/03/a-moving-experience.html
Thursday, March 12, 2015. Moving. I'm moving. In case you live in Siberia and just got Wifi, I should tell you that this weekend, I'm moving back to Minneapolis from Rochester. Regardless of where I'm moving to or from, the fact is that moving is definitely the stinky pits. So yeah, I have way too much crap everywhere, but it's pretty so I love it! Instead of being like "DOESN'T FIT, THROWING AWAY! I don't know. I guess in closing, I'll say this: I've been hard on Rochester. But it's been hard on...But m...

pharon square: A fine "howdya do"
http://pharonsquare.blogspot.com/2015/03/a-fine-howdya-do.html
Wednesday, March 18, 2015. A fine "howdya do". But I learned a hard truth today, y'all. A hard truth indeed. No city is without flaw. And this came in the form of a fairly upsetting message. I got into a car accident this morning. 1) OMG, I'm an idiot.but also? The city planners are idiots! 2) My parents are going to be sooooo mad! 3) I'm really scared and I literally have no idea what I'm supposed to do. See, she could have, if I had asked her to. I'm only like 15 mins away. But I'm a grown woma...Never...

pharon square: Eye Sore
http://pharonsquare.blogspot.com/2014/06/eye-sore.html
Wednesday, June 18, 2014. My sister Prinna Gchatted me last week with this helpful reminder: "Don't sleep in your contacts, Pharon. I just got back from the eye doctor and turns out, that's super bad.". But I have since stopped doing that and diligently take my plastic miracles out every night. However, I'm not so good with the "then throw the plastic away when they are covered with calcium deposits and your eyes start burning with every blink," part of the contact maintenance plan. I spent a few weeks w...

pharon square: May 2015
http://pharonsquare.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
Wednesday, May 13, 2015. How to: Be a low-maintenance chick. In my never-ending pursuit to make everyone better (a.k.a. more like me), it's time to address high-maintenance chicks. See, there are lots of women (and men, I know! But I can't help men, they are impossible) who take themselves a little too seriously. They take forever to get ready or need constant attention and flattery or they dominate social media with rants about why their lives are hard. These people are HIGH-MAINTENANCE. Stick with 3 or...

pharon square: Man (or Woman) In the Mirror
http://pharonsquare.blogspot.com/2013/11/man-or-woman-in-mirror.html
Monday, November 25, 2013. Man (or Woman) In the Mirror. Geo and I headed out tonight to throw bowling balls with our pals Chad and Angie. In between my stunning attempts to perfect my grandma-throw style of bowling, we managed to work in some surprisingly insightful conversation. It started, much like all my conversations, as a weak attempt at a joke. I said something along the lines of Geo practicing his bowling technique in front of the mirror. Geo: I used to practice Frisbee in front of the mirror.

pharon square: The Black Leather Skirt
http://pharonsquare.blogspot.com/2013/09/the-black-leather-skirt.html
Thursday, September 19, 2013. The Black Leather Skirt. So, I wore that skirt everywhere: school, church and probably soccer practice. I paired it with a super boxy (but also very-loved) red blazer and looked like a 40-year-old businesswoman. Seriously, I LOVED IT. But things are different. I'm a wife. In the suburbs. With an SUV. So I suppose it wasn't surprising when I went through a tiny. Geo questioned my wardrobe when I proudly displayed my purchase. He was all, "Um. So. Wait, what? But I don't care&...
