Friday, April 16, 2010. What do you think about global warming? In my opinion I do not believe that global warming is a threat to our ecosystem. The past winter we have just experienced was awful! It was absolutely and utterly freezing! I don't think our winters have ever been this cold! It might be that some glaciers are melting, but I do not believe it is to the extent that it would cause a global crisis. Posted by Haley Terango. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Jerrad -Science 8: Energy Sources/ Solar
http://jerradr.blogspot.com/2010/04/energy-sources-solar.html
Wednesday, April 21, 2010. If there was 1 energy source I could pick for my house I would pick solar energy. The reason I pick solar energy is because its non- pollutent and once you get put on your house you wont have to pay an electricity bill. The bad parts are that is non- renewable and if the sun isnt out you wont have any electricity. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Eliminating Coal/ Energy Sources. View my complete profile.

Dominant traits would consist of free earlobes, hair on fingers, no widows peak, and dimples. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Eliminating Coal/ Energy Sources. View my complete profile.

Tuesday, March 23, 2010. My favorite thing that we learned in science class this year was the bubble gum experiment. In this activity we were looking to find out how large our bubbles could get with a certain amount of chomps. This experiment was very fun. I learned a lot! It was also great because I got to chew bubble gum in class! I hope to do more fun experiments like this one in science class soon! Posted by Haley Terango. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Monday, April 26, 2010. Posts our blogging assignments on her blog. I am learning how to insert an image in a blog post. Thursday, April 22, 2010. Energy Sources For My Home. One of the few bad things about solar energy is that the sun tends to change directions and when that happens you get less energy. If that happens I would use my backup energy source, which is hydro power. That way, if my power were to go out it would be a short second before my power would come back on. Father: My dad has free ear lobs, no hair on his fingers, no widows peak, curly hair, a smooth chin, but no smile dimples. April 28, 2010 at 11:26 AM. Its really interesting how much you and your parents look alike. I like how you summed up the alikes and differeces between you and your parents. You did a great job. Nicki - Science 8. Monday, March 29, 2010. Tuesday, March 23, 2010. I really enjoyed learning about heredity and genetics. I love anatomy and find genetics very interesting. I learned the chances/. The different alleles and genes from your parents. I also learned about the dominant, recessicve, and codominant alleles. I want to go into the medical field and health services once I am older, so I found this helpful. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

The thing that I have enjoyed most in my science class is learning about plant and animal cells. This is because it was simple and still interesting. I liked looking at the slides and seeing the insect parts.
