http://sperlingadventures.blogspot.com/2015_07_01_archive.html
Friday, July 31, 2015. This was the first year since we moved the Middle East that I have spent the 4th of July in the USA. Needless to say I was a little excited! Our friends, Steve and Inez recently bought a house in Stillwater and offered to host a cookout for the 4th. Little did they know that it would be turned in to a surprise 60th birthday party for my Dad with my entire family! Happy 4th of July! My Dad, Aunt Sandra, Uncle Stan, and Uncle Roger. Christina actually had the entire day off so we wer...

Sperling Adventures: May 2015
http://sperlingadventures.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
Saturday, May 16, 2015. Wow, the month of May has been super busy! We have had something to do every weekend and my weeks have been full of church activities, play dates, etc. It's been fun and has made the month fly by. Every weekend has had at least one birthday party (one of them was Jacob's). The first weekend in May we went to Madelyn and Annie's ballerina party. I didn't take a lot of pictures but I did get one of this precious girl! We've also found new ways to ride in/on the stroller. Also, for M...

Sperling Adventures: November 2014
http://sperlingadventures.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, November 5, 2014. Oh man how difficult it is to keep up with a blog when you have a newborn and a 2 year old! I’m going to do my best to catch up when I can. Lets start with Hailey’s birth…. Hailey was born 4 days passed her due date! Needless to say, I was very anxious and ready to get the show on the road. I went to my doctors appointment on Sunday hoping he would want me to induce or do SOMETHING to help the process along. Lets just say its not good to frustrate a 9 month pregnant. I was sa...

Sperling Adventures: August 2015
http://sperlingadventures.blogspot.com/2015_08_01_archive.html
Saturday, August 15, 2015. On June 16, Jacob officially turned 3 years old. As typical in his life, his birthday party was a month early so we were used to saying he was 3 a whole month before he actually turned 3. Jacob weighs around 32 pounds. He is tall and skinny. Blonde but it's already starting to get darker. Jacob loves Mac n Cheese, PBand. J, pasta, chili, pizza, most fruit. For snacks he likes cereal, gummies, "cheerios and raisins", cheese crackers. He is such a fun kid! And "Are you ok? Today ...

Sperling Adventures: June 2015
http://sperlingadventures.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
Friday, June 5, 2015. 14 lbs 8oz - she gained over 1 lb this month! Deep blue - they are lightening up some but still very blue. Blonde- she has lost a little bit of her "mullet" and the rest has started to thicken. 6 months or 6-9 month. Every 3 hours fully on the bottle. We are eating solids about twice a day. So far we've had. Potatoes, peas (NOT a fan), some pasta and bread. She goes to bed around 8:30pm. We had some jet-lag issues after Bali but she is. Hailey is still an easy, happy baby. She g...

Sperling Adventures: Jacob's Summer Camp
http://sperlingadventures.blogspot.com/2015/08/jacobs-summer-camp.html
Thursday, August 6, 2015. Ohh, his first week.I have such mixed emotions. Of course I was sad that my baby boy is old enough to be going to "school" but I loved how excited he was about going and he was SO excited about his Spider Man lunch box. All but one morning he cried when I dropped him off but all but one day he cried when I picked him up! Ha, silly boy! It reminded me what it's like to have just one baby! However, I wasn't a fan of getting up and leaving the house every day of the week! Micah and...

Sperling Adventures: April 2015
http://sperlingadventures.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, April 14, 2015. Just Jacob, Just Pictures. For the whole month of February and into March Micah was working a "turn around" which basically means he worked 14-16 hour days 6 days a week. This made us both extremely tired and worn out (Micah more so than me)! Unfortunately, Mom was able to re-experience the joys of awful sandstorms! Once we tired of shopping, we stopped for lunch at Damasca for a little Arab style food and on our way out of the souqs we had to do some pigeon chasing. Mom's last d...

Sperling Adventures: July 2014

Thursday, July 17, 2014. Jacob and I took them out to Aspire Zone park. When the weather is nice, I really enjoy taking Jake to this park and letting him play. However, it was already way too hot to really enjoy. Jacob played for about 5 minutes and then we were all too hot to stay. We all took Grandma and Grandpa out one evening to the Pearl for dinner and a leisurely stroll along the water. It was fun to dream about owning one of the massive yachts parked in the marina. Another night we all headed out ...
