What Can Brown Do For You?: More work in March
http://www.jasonandallison.blogspot.com/2009/04/more-work-in-march.html
What Can Brown Do For You? A blog that is probably only interesting to people who already know us. Wednesday, April 1, 2009. More work in March. Well, our journey to be able to live in our house is almost done. We are really pretty close to being finished but we decided to fork up the money to have our floors refinished before we moved in. It was fairly expensive, but the results are stunning. It is hard to capture the richness in the wood with the camera, it really should be seen. More work in March.

What Can Brown Do For You? A blog that is probably only interesting to people who already know us. Friday, September 19, 2008. So I'm in a beginning Anatomy and Physiology (A&P)class this semester. It's a prerequisite for dental hygiene. And I am lucky enough to be going to DVC for this class. You might ask, why does that make me lucky? Well, it's because DVC is one of the only schools in California that has cadavers for A&P students! Yeah, that's pretty exciting! I have also recently learned that the he...

What Can Brown Do For You? A blog that is probably only interesting to people who already know us. Friday, June 5, 2009. We have been busy. Well, sorry for the delay in posting. We have made some progress on the house. We bought a new TV for the wall. This makes me very happy. A few days after we bought it, Carmen decided to climb up the chimney. Good times for all. Allison's grandparents came out and helped us finish up the lighting. They had only seen the house when it was at bare studs. The To Do List.

Dan and Whitney: Lunch at Kimo's
http://danandwhitney.blogspot.com/2013/02/lunch-at-kimo.html
Sunday, February 17, 2013. First we woke up and got to go pick up Uncle Calvin from the airport. Calvin came to visit us from the Big Island. It's always fun to see Calvin but this trip is especially fun because its the first time Em and Calvin have seen each other since Em's baby blessing in 2010 when Em was three months old. After we picked Calvin up, we drove to Lahaina to walk around. Calvin had the Aloha burger. A normal burger with a slice of pineapple and teriyaki sauce. After lunch we stopped by ...

Dan and Whitney: Humuhumunukunukuapua'a
http://danandwhitney.blogspot.com/2013/02/humuhumunukunukuapua.html
Friday, February 15, 2013. It's a mouthful. It's the Hawaii state fish. It's also a delicious restaurant at the Grand Wailea on Maui. While it'll be a long time before we can afford the $650 a night price to actually stay at the hotel, we rubbed our nickels together and treated ourselves to a delicious Valentine's Day dinner. On the way to the restaurant we spotted a great place on the side of the road where we got to see a beautiful Maui sunset. We split the Kula Lau'ai. A Kula Butter Lettuce salad ...

Saturday, August 21, 2010. Emerson had her first trip to San Francisco this week. I thought she needed a fancy outfit for her special day and the night before, I happened-upon a polka-dot onesie with ruffles and a tutu to match. We began our morning with a photo-shoot of Emerson. Following that, Emerson, Aunt Karen, Nora, Diana, and I drove over to the city to have lunch and treats! We ate lunch at Stacks. delicious! Aunt Karen suggested that we needed to go to La Boulange and pick-up some. Thank-you Eme...

Thursday, March 4, 2010. Lend Me Your Ear. I am late in posting from last Sunday when our baby was the size of an 8.5" ear of corn at 23 weeks. but I posted today, now that life is calming down. Follow that up with a scoop of one complete day filled with fifth graders working with firing clay to create mosaic pieces for the 5th grade mural {you would think they'd be competent. oh well}. Dan and Whitney: Maui Ocean Center
http://danandwhitney.blogspot.com/2013/02/maui-ocean-center.html
Friday, February 15, 2013. Today we got to go to the Maui Ocean Center. Kind of like the Monterey Bay Aquarium but smaller. What it lacks in size it makes up for in its uniqueness. It focuses solely on Hawaiian species, specifically those in the oceans around Maui. Most exhibits let you see the the animals from above, then you can walk down some stairs and see the tank from the side through the huge glass window. Definitely worth it if you come to Maui. Dan and Whitney: January 2010
http://danandwhitney.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 25, 2010. Inspiration Drive = Accomplishment. I sewed a new paneled-bedskirt with matching pillows for the bed! I was so thrilled with how it turned out, to have the fabric off of my project shelving (to make room for the next one), and to have the sense of accomplishment. I thought the project would be more difficult than it was, but it only took me 2 days and bada-bing. instant room make-over! So, what's next? I'll refer to my list. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Life As Lived By Jason and Alisha (and now Maddox and Lyla). Open Heart Surgery Story. 0102 – Turning The Page After A Year. July 30, 2014. Sorry I realize I’ve been silent for a while here. I have good reasons. Frankly, it was time to get back to living my life. After the ordeal that was “open heart surgery,” and after the ordeal that was. From it, I needed to get away from all the blog updates and doctors appointments, and start focusing on. Since I had the surgery. Boy, what a difference a year makes.

I don't know. We did/saw things I didn't know existed and this was becoming evident even from the first day. To be continued . again. Saturday, November 8, 2008. The d...

Notice the peppermint stick? Posing by his bike. Sweet Ella loves the trumpet too…she's actually pretty good! I was worried Ella wouldn't love her princess castle because she's not real into girly things yet, but she actually LOVED it! Griffin got a set of magna tiles and both kids have spent MANY hours building things together!

Monday, November 29, 2010. So this was our first married holiday. It was a headache to plan but boy was it fun! Between trying to figure out which family was where and which family we'd see and travel time and food arrangements and meeting people and emails, I really thought this weekend would have been stressful. Good news, though! It was not stressful at all. In fact, it was probably one of my favorite Thanksgivings ever! Saturday, more people showed up. The beach house was definitely crowded! If you r...
