Thursday, September 10, 2009. Last weekend the girls and I drove to Omaha to go to the zoo with some friends. And yes, it was worth the two hour drive! We had never been before and it was so much fun. It's a big zoo with so many things to see and we didn't even see it all. I want to go back sometime with Jason. Here are a few pictures of our visit. Okay, a lot of pictures. :). Madison and her friend Oakley. I just thought it was. So cute I snapped a picture. Oakley, Maddie, and Brenna. Get me outta here!

Thursday, September 17, 2009. Brenna and the Scooter. Here is a little video of our 17-month old riding Maddie's scooter. A couple of weeks ago I was joking with some friends that Brenna would be riding it by herself before she was 18 months old. She was always standing on it and wanting to ride it. Well, she proved me right! Brenna really thinks she's as big as Maddie and can do everything she can! September 18, 2009 at 12:33 AM. Way to go Brenna! You are amazing. Grandpa loves you. Fourth of July fun.

Thursday, September 17, 2009. First Day of School and More. Madison was invited to a friend's birthday party last week and Brenna and I were able to stay also. They had so much fun! It was at a place called Pump It Up and they have a bunch of inflatables to play in. Brenna had at least as much fun as Maddie did. She had absolutely no fear. As you can see, Brenna pulled her elastics out in the car, so she has crazy hair. I still can't believe I got this picture! Maddie on her first day of school.

Thursday, August 27, 2009. Our little girl is growing up! So, I finally decided it was time to start a blog. This has been an exciting week for us. Madison turned 4 on Tuesday. I can't believe she's already 4! We had a few friends over for cake and ice cream that night. Madison wanted a butterfly cake and it turned out pretty cute. I had a lot of fun making it and Madison helped me decorate the extra cupcakes I had made. She played with her Polly Pockets and rode her new scooter all day.

Sunday, April 27, 2014. No drama this year on Easter! Excited about this idea, so she prepared the pots and the kids planted and watered the seeds. Sure enough, there were bunny shaped lollypops the next morning. Amazing! After the Easter egg hunt. Even Truman enjoyed shaking his one Easter egg. Poor boy didn't get a basket, but I don't think he minded. The decorated Easter eggs! I think I enjoy this tradition as much as the kids. Planting the "lollypop seeds". Lollypops need plenty of water to grow.

Sometimes I balanced on the bamboo laid across the trail, but I couldn't avoid the mud here. More beautiful trail. This was on the trail to kuliouou ridge. The view from the top. Sunday, May 25, 2014. I love living in Lacey! There are all kinds of great community activities, and so many fun things to do here. We visited the annual Kids Fun Fair and got to try out all kinds of free activities, including pony rides! Saturday, May 24, 2014. The kids were excited about washing the dishes and did it at every meal. Becca with all of the kids building a fire. January 10, 2012. We had an extra day while in Cali, so we headed over to the Zoo. WOW.I forgot about all the hills and hiking you do at this zoo! Can you tell they just adore each other!
