Thursday, December 23, 2010. We went skating at the roller rink today. I took all three boys and Jason kept Grace at home. At first Jonathan was scared and clung to my hand. By the second hour however be was saying "it's okay mommy, you go around by yourself and I will go around by myself." So sweet and brave. While we were there I met a "friend" that I have been reading her blog for years but had never actually met. It was so cool to meet her in person. Lots of fun at the skating rink today!

From My Villa to Yours. Brie is Growing in Wisdom and Stature. This was from her first day of worship with the people of FBC-SJ! She really enjoyed hearing Pastor Stacy’s sermon but her favorite preacher is her dad, Pastor Bret! She slept through almost both sermons but that is to be expected from a newborn (and says nothing about the good preaching! Soon we’ll have her taking notes! We’ll Lord-willing Bret and I will be going to Italy some time in the next year as a sweet gift from our church family. Steeds in the Garden State
Steeds in the Garden State. Saturday, January 5, 2013. I didn't feel right about posting any new updates before saying a final farewell to New Jersey and reminiscing about some of the things we are leaving behind. Things we won't miss:. The stairs of death in our pre-1850 apartment. The yucky hot, humid weather that makes wearing clothing uncomfortable, even during our move in May!
