Jason, Lauren, Reese, Hadley and Brynlee. Monday, February 17, 2014. This is the third year that Jason has taken Reese to the Briarwood Ballet's Father/Daughter dance. This year, Hadley was old enough to go. I love this because the girls LOVE to get dressed up to go on a date with their daddy. Jason and I try to do individual dates with them every month or so, but this is always a special night! All "dolled" up and ready to go. This picture captures Hadley's personality so well! 9 month update and a mohawk. Miller's 9-month appointment was last week. She weighed in at 23.4 pounds, which is off the charts. She had on clothes, so I'm thinking she's closer to 23 pounds, right? She was 28 inches long, so she's a pretty big girl. Trent grew really fast during his first two years and then slowed down, so I'm expecting baby sister to do the same thing. We celebrated birthdays for Mimi and Bop on Sunday with a delicious lowcountry boil. Charlie made her first road trip and loved all of the extra attention she received. I dressed up as a pregnant lady, check out my swollen cheeks. Getting ready for the parade. Making skeletons out of q-tips. Usually, I love dressing up and going trick-or-treating, but was not feeling up to it this time. I was so sad to miss the festivities, but snapped a few pictures before Mark and Finn took off. First Day of Kindergarten. Still, I had to wear my sunglasses the first day I picked him up because I teared up when he got off the bus. You know how sometimes you just happen to be in the right place at the right time and because of that rare instance when everything happened to line up just so and something wonderful happens? Anyway, Jack had planned this huge surprise party with all of her family and friends, rented out a restaurant and hired one of her favorite singers to play a private concert just for the party! It was a wonderful treat and I'm so thankful these ladies took time (and found babysitters) to make this afternoon work.

Monday, November 12, 2012. Chipper's Last Game.Ever. So, this year when Beau asked me what I wanted for my birthday I knew exactly what I wanted. We, spent my Birthday (and his) weekend in Marietta with my family and went to Chipper's last baseball game ever. It was a crazy game, we lost (not only the game but our shot at a World Series) but we had a blast! We had not been to a game in forever, so, we had a Mommy Daddy date night at Turner Field with fabulous seats! Jennifer and Beau Whitson.
