http://www.jasonandlinds.com/stewardship/never-enough
Things to remember…. 8220; He who loves money will not be satisfied with money. Nor he who loves wealth with his income. 8221; (Ecclesiastes 5:10). Money will not satisfy and pursuit of “more stuff” derails your pursuit of Christ (1 Tim. 6:10). So what is real gain? How about “godliness with contentment” (1 Tim. 6:6)? Once again it’s about looking beyond the temporal (1 Tim. 6:7) toward what counts for eternity (1 Tim. 6:12). Posted by Lindsay posted under Stewardship. Email will not be published.

Things to remember…. Extreme Makeover: Chair Edition. Thanks to my hardworking dad, visionary mom and the generosity of both, our kitchen chairs got a major makeover while they were in town! Disassembled, spray painted, new fabric stapled on (and scotch-guarded! Quite the project, quite the improvement! That’s the “before” chair on the right and “after” on the left. Feeling dyslexic that day I guess. Posted by Lindsay posted under Creative Outlet. Subscribe to The Filing Cabinet by Email.

http://www.jasonandlinds.com/biblical-counseling/coram-deo
Things to remember…. Biblical counseling is helping fellow sinners in this fallen world to live coram Deo. Is to live one’s entire life in the presence of God, under the authority of God, to the glory of God…. 8220;To live all of life. What Does coram Deo Mean? We take that broad, overarching theme for our lives and get specific with the nitty gritty of life’s circumstances in light of spiritual realities using the tools God Himself gives – His Word, His Spirit, His People. Things to remember…. Last year I showed you the first piece of wall art I created for the boys’ room ( Impress Your Kids. I never loved how it turned out so now that we’re moving Katy in with the boys I decided to decorate her corner and repaint the canvas. I used cheapo (59 cent) acrylic paint, scrapbook paper I had on hand, and my handy dandy cricut to make a tree to match her bedding. Posted by Lindsay posted under Creative Outlet. http://rockpaperscissorsglue.blogspot.com/2012/09/so-i-love-love-love-love-love-it-just.html
Rock, Paper, Scissors and Glue. Tuesday, September 4, 2012. So I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, it! Just like I thought I would! I LOVE BEING A HOME SCHOOL MOMMY! Okay so I know it's only the first day. And I know that there are going to be days that I won't love it as much (if at all.). But today was a GOOD day. It began with morning snuggles. at 8am! And then I capped it off with some "learning in action" shots. Sigh* from one contented Momma. AKA "Teacher". Have I mentioned that I LOVE that? Especially...

Rock, Paper, Scissors and Glue. Wednesday, October 3, 2012. Living In The Future. Away at the local scrapbook store. During our scrapbook stay-cation day, we had dinner out at a local Asian diner called Pei Wei. Have you ever been? And they provide gluten free options for my girl, Linds! While waiting for our food we were walking to the soda machine and noticed it was different from the last time we scrapped and dined on Asian cuisine. Different as in. Right at our fingertips! Labels: Paper and Glue.

Rock, Paper, Scissors and Glue. Thursday, November 1, 2012. Easy Sausage and Tortellini Soup. This is one of those "almost" homemade recipes. It was emailed to me a couple of years ago (I printed it on January 6, 2010. apparently I like to collect new recipes more than actually try them) when I signed up to receive a recipe-a-day via email. It's from BetterRecipes.com. 5 links sweet Italian sausage. 1 can (10.5 oz) condense French Onion Soup. 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes, Italian style. I knew better t...

http://rockpaperscissorsglue.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
Rock, Paper, Scissors and Glue. Wednesday, May 16, 2012. Queen of the "Last Minute". I am becoming the Queen of the last minute projects. This is not. How I've approached anything in life. but lately, it's just the way things seem to flow. I hope I grow out of it. And soon. It truly shows a lack of planning and preparing, which has not ever been my character, and nor do I want it to be. But in my lack of planning, God blessed my night anyway. Isn't He great. Um, I don't prefer that idea, Mommy" - to quot...

Tuesday, February 22, 2011. Our Fun filled weekend! Wednesday, February 16, 2011. Do you like crunchy zucchini dipped in ranch? This is what the recipe said but I'll tell you later how I altered it. (I am really bad at using a recipe! Unless it's you Karen, then I try to follow your recipe since I know you have altered it to perfection! 2 small or 1 large zucchini, cut into spears or 3/4 inch rounds. 1 1/2 tsp flour. 2 tbs bread crumbs (I use Panko since they get brown and crunchy). 1/2 tsp garlic salt.

Living Our Happily Ever After. Friday, June 1, 2012. It's been such a wonderful trip here in Portland, and we still have one day to go! It's retail price is $300, and we got it for $90! We will be heading there for sure! Jason has been wanting...
