ROCK Street: St. Louis (part 1)
http://beccastreet-rockstreet.blogspot.com/2011/06/st-louis-part-1.html
Rebecca.Oliver.Cole.Kate. Thursday, June 30, 2011. St Louis (part 1). The train was the first part of our adventure, the kiddos were super excited to not be buckled in and to go on a "real" train. Cole was so excited to have all his cars in his lap. He can't do this in his car seat. The kiddos were very excited about the pool at the hotel. They had just completed a round of swimming lessons and were feeling quite accomplished. The Alice in Wonderland exhibit. Kate and Cole climbing Jack's Beanstalk.

ROCK Street: September 2010
http://beccastreet-rockstreet.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Rebecca.Oliver.Cole.Kate. Wednesday, September 29, 2010. Well, yesterday was Cole's 3rd Birthday and he had a great day. I can't believe my BABY boy is 3 already, it seems like just yesterday we were announcing his birth and now he is a BIG boy! Cole and his "polka dot" pizza. I did the best I could with a purple Toy Story cake. He seems pretty happy with it at least! And he got his "big, BIG Buzz Lightyear". Before he went to bed he insisted on putting his name on Buzz's foot (just like in the movie).

Well, let me tell you, it is harder (and much more time consuming) than it looks. At least they turned out okay and tasted really yummy! Pink and purple cake pops. Just what the 6 year old wanted. The cake pops ready to be handed out to the Daisy's. Kate had dance class that evening, then we went out to dinner at Mama Mia's (her choice because she really likes their bow tie. On Friday ...

Adventuring in Oxford and beyond. When I told our Oxford-born-and-raised housekeeper where we were headed last Friday, she wouldn't even repeat the name. She called it "that 'C' word." (I thought that was pretty funny.). I'm speaking, of course, about Cambridge. We visited Jasmine and Micha's college, Christ's College, that evening. Here we are lounging in the gardens. We didn't walk around much that night, but opted instead for a nice dinner and some time to relax. But one of the biggest differences bet...

Adventuring in Oxford and beyond. A Royal Affair at Blenheim Palace. Regardless of where you live, you probably know that something big happened in England yesterday. Instead of joining the madness in London, I went along with a group of OCCA and Wycliffe friends to Blenheim Palace to celebrate. A lot of other people thought that would be a good idea, too. So we took a picnic and found a place on the lawn to watch the "big screen" that would show the wedding. We stayed on for afternoon falconry shows and...

Adventuring in Oxford and beyond. Our sea freight shipment arrived last Wednesday! I'm happily typing up this blog post on my Mac. Everything came in good condition- minus one bowl- so we're really grateful for that. About this time last week we were wondering if it would come at all. Then the kind folks at EuroUSA failed to let us know that they needed some additional paperwork to get that extra screening done, so after 5 days we. We've learned a lot through this:. 2) In our attempt to save some money b...
