Jason Lattier's Garden Journal

Jason Lattier's Garden Journal. Sunday, August 15, 2010. For my last garden visit in the UK, I had the absolute pleasure of visiting Great Dixter. I hate to use the tired old phrase “save the best for last,” but I cannot think of a more appropriate phrase. Walking through the gardens at Great Dixter was an emotional experience more than it was a nice day in the garden. It is the definition of awe-inspiring. The house at Great Dixter dates from the mid 15. Christopher Lloyd became one of England’s m...

Jason Lattier's Garden Journal: RHS Wisley

http://jasondlattier.blogspot.com/2010/09/rhs-wisley.html

Jason Lattier's Garden Journal. Sunday, August 1, 2010. After an unforgettable few weeks in Scotland, it was time to return to England for my next assignment at RHS Wisley. The RHS Wisley is one of the largest and most important gardens in the UK. Wisley maintains a plant collection of about 30,000 taxa (one of the largest in the world) including a comprehensive fruit collection, as well as vegetable, alpine, bulb, herbaceous, and woody collections. My main focus at Wisley was Education. Many thanks to J...

Jason Lattier's Garden Journal: Hampton Court

http://jasondlattier.blogspot.com/2010/09/hampton-court.html

Jason Lattier's Garden Journal. Monday, August 2, 2010. While working at Wisley, I was lucky enough to visit the historic Hampton Court Palace in Richmond. Hampton Court was originally built for Cardinal Wolsey, Archbishop of York and favorite of Henry VIII, around 1529. This began the legendary Tudor Period at Hampton Court. With the negative public i...

Jason Lattier's Garden Journal: RBG Kew

http://jasondlattier.blogspot.com/2010/09/rbg-kew.html

Jason Lattier's Garden Journal. Tuesday, August 3, 2010. After finishing up my stint at RHS Wisley, it was finally time to move back to London for the duration of my scholarship. My next stop was the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew, probably the most notable garden in all of the UK, and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It was an honor just to visit, and actually getting to work in the laboratories was the chance of a lifetime. Kew is simply a monumental garden, and must be visited to be appreciated. One of the...

I have relied on my intuition since the age of 5. I began developing it and marketing it at 23, before that with family when, at 17, I began to study the tarot. In the course of my spiritual life, I have been given the names " - he who foresees; and "which according to the authors / creators, is a Greek term for "the seeing one".
