Ramblings from an Independent Consultant. Monitor the Status of an Azure WebJob. Last year I started using Azure WebJobs to run some background processing for a website. At the time, I was not using the WebJob SDK at all, I was just writing console apps that blocked and stayed in a loop and most of the time everything worked great. If a WebJob goes down and no one is looking at the portal to notice did it really go down? The answer of course is: yes! Solution: the WebJobs API. And the multi-step web test.

I installed it to a virtual machine using VMware and spent all of 10 minutes looking at it, but something just doesn’t feel right about it. Learning MSIL, CorDbLib and .NET. Tuesday, September 27, 2005. DILE in Code Camp IV. Thanks to Jason Haley. The Geek Godfather of Beantown. DILE has got some attention as he used it for his Code Camp IV. Session called "Disassembling for fun". It's a pity that I hadn't been able to finish the debugging part before the Code Camp. I guess it'd have been even more interesting to debug the IL code. Anyway, thanks Jason, I feel honoured. And I hope DILE didn't crash too many times during the demo. ;-).
