Tuesday, September 28, 2010. Art on a misty morning at the Beekman. Last night, I stayed up watching Disney's Wall-E through the corner of my eye while painting my first goat portrait on a glass vase I'd purchased. I love playing imaginative movies in the background while I'm working on projects. Well, that or 80's music - which I do right now. Both keep my creative vigor rolling. I'm pretty pleased with how the vase turned out for a first attempt, especially after John exclaimed, "It looks just like her!

2016년 11월 24일 목요일. 2016 땡스기빙 버뮤다를 가다. 올해 땡스기빙에는 버뮤다를 가보기로 합니다. JFK 공항으로 가는거는 처음인데 5시간이 넘네요. 아침 일찍 비행기라 그런지 찬빈이는 비행기 타자마자 잠이 듭니다. 뉴욕 JFK 공항에서 2시간 비행이네요. 공항까지 가는게 더 오래걸리는 여행입니다. 도착해보니 바다 색깔이 너무나 아름답습니다. 바다에 들어가기에는 좀 추운 날씨. 아무도 바다에 들어가지 않네요. 일단 점프를 한번 해보고. 같이 점프를 한번 또 해보고. 한바탕 바다에서 놀다가 저녁을 먹고. 베란다에서 맥가이버도 노트북으로 한편 봅니다. 저 멀리 등대가 보이네요. 셔틀 버스를 기다리는데 오리들이 아장아장 걸어다니네요. 셔틀 버스를 타고 시내버스를 타고 해밀튼이라는 곳에 왔습니다. 버뮤다의 수도지요. 시내버스표가 쿠폰식으로 파는데 우체국에서 판다고해서 우체국에 와봤습니다. 뭔가 마음에 드는 책을 찾은 모양입니다. 점심 식사를 하고 또 한번 걸어다녀볼가요? 우리 둘 밖에 없네요.
