Ramblings on life with kids.and a few other things! Sunday, June 30, 2013. I know, I know.it's been awhile! What better way to celebrate than with cheese sticks and giant hot dogs! Lovie LOVES the pool! We enjoyed one of many days at the "old" pool. Followed by an evening of very suspicious weather. THIS is where I found the kids! Kids at Heart hosted a private event at the zoo for "heart kids" so we went! So Lovie had a big week last week. She met her new Physical Therapist who is pretty awesome! Sunday...

Ramblings on life with kids.and a few other things! Monday, January 21, 2013. The kids are hyped about today- double whammy: MLK Jr. AND Obama! Their heads may just explode! In honor of the Inauguration. Jason and I shared the story of why Henry County does not have a community pool (told to us by a long-time HC resident). It did have a pool. Then came integration. Then the fine white folks of HC filled in the pool with cement. Now there is no pool. Mimi: "They could have just shared the pool.".

Head down but cord still in entirely wrong place to deliver normally without cutting off my unborn child's blood/oxygen supply. So, no pressure on me or anything! May I just say that I am so not wanting a. C-section, but will do what I am told. But fingers crossed that this cord shifts in time. So, we're just waiting for Violet, doing school, and hanging around. Lovie enjoying her ball pit from Santa!

Wednesday, April 27, 2011. Our first time fishing. Last Saturday we took a family trip to Piedmont and the kids had their first fishing experience in Uncle Ben and Aunt San's lake. Patrick thought fishing was a.maz.ing. He was so excited and not scared of touching the fish at all! He caught about 8 or 9 little fish.
