On this page I'm going to attempt a high level overview of JavaOp2. The concept is a little different from JavaOp or JBBot, so hopefully anybody who wants to use it will at least have a quick look over this document rather than asking questions that I answer here. The vast majority of the bot is purely my own work. I used nobody else's Java work (who didn't write it specially for me - see Contributers page. If you have any questions at all! In JavaOp2, all configuration is (optionally) done through graph...

The first thing you need to do is download. The latest core and plugins. They can be unzipped to seperate folders, and it doesn't matter where they are. Once they're unzipped, you should have a bunch of .jar files. Running .jar Files. And get the "J2SE 1.5.0 JRE". Once that's installed, you should be able to double-click the .jar files to run them. If you wish to run the .jar files off a commandline, on any platform, use the command "java -jar Jarfile.jar". You'll then be presented with a blank bot:.

Although the moderation is really up to plugins, I figured I'd outline the default moderation capibilities that come with the deafult plugin set. The concept of flags is pretty simple. Every user has zero or more flags, each of which are represented by a single alphabetic character. Each flag represents something different. Although the role of the flags are entirely up to the plugins, some conventions include:. A user with Z will be banned when they enter the channel, no matter what other flags they have.
