Monday, June 16, 2014. Jaxon finished his first year in elementary school with a bang! Hard to believe that my tiny baby is done with kindergarten. I am always nervous about kinder graduation, but I was a tad bit more nervous about this graduation. Not only was I teacher, but I was also Mom. Saturday, June 21, 2014. Summer started in early May in the Pearson house. Brian heated the pool and we all spent an afternoon swimming. Like all proper girls, Reese had to put on a little makeup before heading out. With a makeup and goggles in place Reese was ready! Jaxon had to try out his new snorkel and mask by jumping in. Sunday, December 29, 2013. As Christmas drew nearer, we needed to get going on our Christmas traditions. Somehow, time got away from us and we had to pack it all in. Starting with our annual visit to Santa. This year, Brian wasn't able to go with us, but we still made the most of it and had fun. Reese was all gun-ho to see Santa. Until it was time to sit on his lap. Then she wanted NO part of him! As I start to unbuckle her from the stroller, she panics. "No no no! Look Bubba is sitting on his lap.".

My heart was swelling with happiness. Weeks before the class began I ordered her a new leotard, convertible tights (a hole at the bottom of the foot so that tights become footless tights), teeny tiny ballet shoes and tap shoes. EEEEEE! Matt's grandma and the kids' great grandma passed away. We are truly sad for our loss, but glad that she has found peace in heaven and being able to be with her husband again. Here are some of our favorite pictures with her and some of our greatest memories. These are from our trip to New York when Lucas was 8 months old. I will miss that smile.

It was our first trip to Texas, our first time seeing Aunt Kim's new house, our first trip to NASA, our first trip to the Houston Aquarium and most importantly, our first 16 hour road trip! First day of travel. We survived 16 hours in a car together. Macie enjoyed feeding the ducks by the pond. Lucas enjoyed pitching the bread into the lake.
