Monday, October 25, 2010. Mormon Crickets - Lunchables. We have enjoyed having Tiffany and Joseph Lowe visit us for a week here in Jinan. They stayed at our house with the written permission of the Police Department, so they were legal. This type of daily barbeque would have solved more than one problem for them. Saturday, February 26, 2011. A Toast to the Host. Worn my new red jacket to church today. Church was in my apartment. We had 12 people over for church today. Then we all stayed and enjoyed a wonderful lunch together and sang some chinese songs. See the many cans of Sprite. Saturday, November 27, 2010. Thanksgiving was Grate.ful! Have I done any good in the world today? They turned in all of their English letters to their parents so I was able to read every one of them and they are so special, sincere, and emotional. Thanksgiving celebration and family activities are now something to build on and to begin new family traditions. It is also a newly introduced western holiday which they have all agreed should also be an annual Chinese family tradition. Here is one of them:.

Sunday, May 13, 2012. Our Gold Mine Adventure. After watching Gold Rush, on Discovery Channel, we decided to try our hand at mining for gold. Being that our Grandfather, Udo Wartena, was a miner, we felt that we be able to be successful since it was 'in our blood'. Our mine is located in Nevada and the following are some pictures. This is the entrance to the main mine located on our site. It goes back about 50 feet, with a short 6 foot drift about halfway into the mine. Posted by Jason Thelin.

Two sweethearts still in love after 40 years! Wednesday, May 23, 2012. Cement truck arrives. It was a big deal for the neighborhood kids. They were all looking out the window to see what the commotion was. A cement truck is very, very noisy! I thought I had these in order, but this is the poured conrete with the supports all finished. The brown you see if the remnants of the molasses they slathered on the concrete. The workers beginning to pour the concrete in the prepared area. That looks so great!

Ady got a personalized princess magnet board, Owen a personalized laundry basket hoop with his name on the backboard. These were all from Brent and Azzlinn. Do not know the name of these flowers, but they are pretty. They came up with the hyacinths. Backyard yellow tulips. I took pictures after I had clipped some and taken them inside for a bouquet/. I re-planted strawberries among my blueberries before we left for Rexburg. It rained enough that the transplants survived. April 22, 2012 at 8:20 AM.

Baby X is in his/her 15th week! Growing well and according to the ultrasound tech moving all over the place! I cant really feel any movement yet but I will update when the kicking starts. Should find out gender in about 4 weeks! Exciting times here but now we have to buy a car that holds 3 car seats! Further updates in the future!

At home in haiti. Friday was a GOOD day! My dear friend Mona finally got her teeth! After many dentist visits (each which took her 2 hours to and fro her house), the fit was finally perfect and she has some new pearly whites! The dentist did a great job. In her words, she grew a third set of teeth, better than the second! A special thanks to everyone who donated money for this cause… Mona wanted to tell you thank you:.
