Sunday, May 8, 2011. My step-dad turned 70 this year, so we took a family trip to Kentucky to eat at Patti's Settlement. They are the home to 2-inch pork chops that are delicious. It was a crowded ride with 11 people in two cars, but we made it. Caroline talked the entire way there and back nonstop! It was a gorgeous day and of course I made pictures! Thankfully, even as things change, one thing never does, and that is our Redeemer. Sometimes I just want to start over. Cause everything looks like a wreck. And I need the courage to carry on. Tuesday, March 1, 2011. What I've Learned from Surgery. Here's a list of the things I've learned during my surgery:. You totally need your family to be there for you, and mine went above and beyond. Pain medicine is a really good thing. I have some amazing friends, which I knew, they just reminded me how amazing they are! I don't like being out of work for so long, I missed all my friends there! I'm not the best patient after the first week! My Kindle was a great thing to have to keep me busy.

After three years of living here, I finally got a new driver's license. Apparently, I'm an actual Utah citizen now. I would have kept the TN one (I still have the plates! I will sign it and stay comfortably put in my hip little red-and-black-bedecked place. Regardless of what you may be thinking at the moment, you actually do have a terrific life.".
