Sunday, September 29, 2013. My post race recovery ride today was super fun. Jack made quick use of the free jersey from yesterdays race. He even picked out 'matching' shorts. Gotta love when your five year old boy picks out his own clothes! But it makes him so happy. Can you tell? He said it even helped him ride faster. Who knew a jersey could do that? Wednesday, June 4, 2014. This week, each child from Jack's class was asked to bring in a book to read to the class and pass out a little gift. Jack of course picked his current favorite, Frog and Toad. He loves these book, does the voices, and is so entertaining. His teacher was so impressed with Jack's reading/acting today, that she asked him to read to all the teachers on the playground. And then again he was asked to read to the principal. Monday, December 30, 2013. No words.best day ever.best park ever! Sunday, December 29, 2013. Today was a bit of a walk down memory lane. We came here as a family back in August 2010 just before jack turned two. It was so much fun to see it three plus years later through Jack's 5 year old eyes. Gee, I wonder why he has fake teeth? First thing we had to do was go to Goofy's Candy Factory. The kids made their custom treats. Then we went to the driod factory, way too cool. And then of course the Lego Store.

Saturday, August 31, 2013. Today, we took Jack to his first parade at the Matthews Alive Festival. It was a bit warm waiting in the sun for the parade to start. But it was well worth the wait to see the surprise and joy in Jack's face. He loved the bands the best and want to join the band in high school.oh boy! He also loved the little princess float :). After the parade Jack played some carnival type games and went on some rides. His favorite was the boxing ring. We'll have to make this an annual event!
