Amazing Adventures: The Why and Wherefore of Adoption
http://jaycie622.blogspot.com/2014/07/the-why-and-wherefore-of-adoption.html
Tales from an overloaded mind. Wednesday, July 02, 2014. The Why and Wherefore of Adoption. I'm engaging in nostalgia this week as I wander around Interlochen Arts Camp and observe young artists developing and honing their skills and their passions. And, of course, as I write that I have to look up the definition of "nostalgia":. And as I ponder "why didn't I have a different family," I have to stop and say—almost aloud in my head—. It's Not All About You! And what did I give him? I have no idea. He ...

Tales from an overloaded mind. Wednesday, August 27, 2014. Mile Upon Mile, Minute Upon Minute. I'm an early riser. Actually, I'm an early waker. I normally wake around 5:30 or 6:00 (at first light) and then lie in bed with my iPhone or iPad until the Jazzman wakes around 7:30. Once he rouses, we sit and discuss the day until he has to get up to go to work. It's a precious and valued part of each day for me. I would lie here for a few minutes wondering if I could possibly go back to sleep. (Nope! What I&#...

Amazing Adventures: September 2014
http://jaycie622.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Tales from an overloaded mind. Monday, September 22, 2014. In the Minds Archives. This morning on my way to work I was trying to remember today's date. I could remember that the Thursday while we were on vacation was 9/11. The Thursday after that would have been the 18th, plus Friday, Saturday, Sunday made today's date the 22nd. But to not know leaves holes in one's soul. Would my life be different if I knew it was a loving relationship? That's my greatest wish/dream/fantasy. To feel loved. Subscribe to ...

Cast Of Characters | The Crseum: Spidermonkeys In Repose
https://crseum.wordpress.com/cast-of-characters
The Crseum: Spidermonkeys In Repose. My cousin just told me she needs a cast of characters so here they are:. The boy in the green oscar hoodie is the Turnip. He is my second born and my “happy accident”. His birthday is 7/18/05. Looks adorable yes? And he is, but he is also a bit….moody. But he has the most amazingly developed sense of humor Ive ever seen in a small child. It saves him. The patriotic boy is Norm. Our twenty year old cute little hippie baby sitter/family manager who sometimes lives here.

The Crseum: Spidermonkeys In Repose. Spoiler Alert: I Still Have Both Feet. Let me preface the realization by making sure that we are all on the same page. Can we all agree that there are some people in the world that are fetchers and some that are fetchees? Yes indeed, the incident scared me friends. I’m changing my ways for real this time. Maybe that means I’ll blog more too! This entry was posted on Tuesday, February 10th, 2009 at 11:17 am and is filed under and this friends is why im in therapy.
Let Them Eat Paint | The Crseum: Spidermonkeys In Repose
https://crseum.wordpress.com/2009/01/20/let-them-eat-paint
The Crseum: Spidermonkeys In Repose. Let Them Eat Paint. Of course I’m kidding. See…it’s a play on the myth of the Marie Antoinette quote. I feel compelled to explain my jokes now because (much to my dismay) it appears that I got blocked. Even from the unabridged. Until then, I have two shout outs. 1 My RT friend and fellow twitter buddy Buff just started blogging so go visit her. She’s outspoken, funny and thoughtful. Check out her recent post about dog birthday parties. 2 Any twitter followers here?

The Crseum: Spidermonkeys In Repose. Do This. Because I Said So. 8220;Why should I? 8221; You might be asking. (Damn! You’ve gotten lippy haven’t you? 8230;) Well friends, not only does “Bug” have blood and guts and craziness and violence? But there’s nudity! Plus, it’s really really good. I don’t want to give too much away so I’m cutting and pasting the press release:. Well this Agnes is different. She is way hot and yeah you get to see her nudie parts but all hot nudiness aside? I remember during one o...
Because it’s still Monday somewhere. I think. | The Crseum: Spidermonkeys In Repose
https://crseum.wordpress.com/2009/01/13/because-its-still-monday-somewhere-i-think
The Crseum: Spidermonkeys In Repose. Because it’s still Monday somewhere. I think. Ah friends, it’s not you. It’s me. I think I have something chronic that sucks all my energy away. I mean besides the Turnip. Anyway, the gloriously revered Madame Fabu bestowed a tremendous favor upon me yesterday (saving me at least two hours and sizable grief and anxiety out of my day) so I promised I’d blog for her pleasure. Played by that guy…). I could blame the crush entirely on 9.5 weeks, but then friends? How the ...

The Crseum: Spidermonkeys In Repose. Keepin’ It Real Here At The Crseum. So I had the realization yesterday that my attempt to get away from random dashes has slowed my blogging way down. And after that, I had the realization that it’s my damn blog! What’s wrong with random dashes anyway? You people don’t need paragraphs to keep you happy right? I didn’t think so. All right then. Let’s just put this whole experiment behind us and move on. No blame no shame. Random Spider Monkey Nonsense. Next Post ».

Amazing Adventures
Tales from an overloaded mind. Wednesday, March 21, 2018. Unintended Gifts from Beyond. Note: This was first written as a Facebook Note on March 20, 2017. I spent last weekend in Orlando for my 50th high school reunion, packing every empty minute with visits to old friends in my hometown. I’ve been trying to figure out how to memorialize one very special meeting, and have decided to put it in a Facebook note. Mrs Nordman wanted to get in touch with Debbie, but couldn’t remember her name. During our conve...

Jaycie & Jay Cooper
Jaycie and Jay Cooper. Friday, August 14, 2009. I don't have time to post much but I have a few pics to put up. Just to catch up on a few things. Jaycie is LOVING 4th grade so far! And I don't see that changing anytime soon. She has Mrs. Owen (her teacher from 2nd grade) and they have this connection like no other. Jaycie rules the roost and Mrs. Owen just lets her! Jaycie even calls Mrs. Owen "mom" and Mrs. Owen's husband, "dad"! We are however, learning that 4th grade is not very easy! He is so funny!
