the [jim]b[o]log: December 2010
http://jimtaggart.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Est 22 january 2004. Sunday, December 5, 2010. Day 2508 - Word Vomit. Hey there internet,. I'm working on my Nonfiction portfolio right now, and I find that I have hit a wall. I need to have 24-30 pages written by Thursday and I currently have 13. Thus, I have decided, at the urging of my loudly vocal friend Sunshine, that I should just try to write quickly in an attempt to get all the crappy writing out in one fell swoop. So, here is the word vomit for the two essays I have thus far:. So far, there are ...

http://jimtaggart.blogspot.com/2011/10/day-2833-snow-day.html
Est 22 january 2004. Wednesday, October 26, 2011. Day 2833 - A Snow Day. So it snowed tonight. And it seems like every year during the first snow, everyone rediscovers snow for the first time. Facebook is filled with status updates: Snow! I hope tomorrow's a snow day! The biggest snow storm I can remember started 14 years ago yesterday- my birthday. It might not have been the biggest storm during my lifetime, but it was. And that's not to say that I haven't been working. I've been working a lot. ...You k...

the [jim]b[o]log: Day 2838 - Ira Glass
http://jimtaggart.blogspot.com/2011/10/day-2838-ira-glass.html
Est 22 january 2004. Monday, October 31, 2011. Day 2838 - Ira Glass. So yesterday James, Gretchen, and I drove up to Fort Collins to see the number one person on my "People Who Inspire You" List: Ira Glass. And I've spent the last hour or so trying to write a blog about it. Summing it up would be impossible. As Ira said yesterday, "The goal isn't to report what is new. It's to report what is." Not just the flash, but the real truthy details of something. And that picture is super intimidating right about...

the [jim]b[o]log: Time sure seems to fly.
http://jimtaggart.blogspot.com/2007/08/time-sure-seems-to-fly.html
Est 22 january 2004. Thursday, August 16, 2007. Time sure seems to fly. In about 18 minutes, it will officially be "moving day.". Now only 17 minutes. It's odd to think how fast time has gone by. It always seemed like I had all the time in the world before it was my turn to move out. I watched as my brothers left and I had plenty of time. I watched as my friends started to go and I still had a couple years. I watched as still more friends moved away and I still had a couple days. Now only 14 minutes.

Est 22 january 2004. Monday, November 29, 2010. Day 2502 - My Horoscope. Hey there Internet,. It's been a while since I last [jim]b[o]logged. Sorry. In all honesty, I've been trying to catch up for the last few days but have been seriously lacking some motivation. Here is what the horoscope said:. Everything gets accomplished that you need to do today. Oddly, your enthusiasm isn't as important as consistent effort.". I'm gonna make it world! I thought. Or something along those lines. I looked at the othe...

Est 22 january 2004. Wednesday, March 9, 2011. Day 2602 - In Regards to a Blog Post By One James Hart. So James wrote a blog concerning his belief that the next year will be the most important period of his writing career. I thought it basically described everything that I've been feeling lately, so I thought I would comment. But I didn't know where the comment button is on Tumblr. Thus, there is this:. Last night I had a dream that I was an astronaut on an. Apollo 11. I say an. Apollo 11. My. In the bac...

the [jim]b[o]log: Day 2807 - You've Got Mail
http://jimtaggart.blogspot.com/2011/09/day-2807-youve-got-mail.html
Est 22 january 2004. Friday, September 30, 2011. Day 2807 - You've Got Mail. So it's about 3 in the morning, and I can't sleep. And because I can't sleep, I've spent the last few hours updating my computer. I installed a new operating system, rearranged folders, synced my calendars, and started transitioning from my CSU email account to Gmail. How apt then, that I should be here at four in the morning, once again hitting "refresh.". PS The new email is james.e.taggart@gmail.com. Day 2807 - Youve Got Mail.

Est 22 january 2004. Wednesday, June 5, 2013. Day 3421 - Threes. It's been a fairly good week- a few days off, a fantastic Postal Service concert at Red Rocks, macaroni and cheese- , and I thought I would share some things. Most specifically, I've had an idea over the past few days that I can't seem to shake. The idea is this:. For example, I had a three day hiatus from work this week. During this time, I came up with some great ideas for my future (inspired largely by this. And maybe a little bit of this.

Est 22 january 2004. Wednesday, April 13, 2011. Day 2637 - A Correction. In the post titled writing about 1/24/04. The following statement was written in error "remember pogs,[sic] wow those are dumb.". In fact, pogs are awesome, and the world would be a much better place if they still existed. We here at the [jim]b[o]log. Would like to apologize for this egregious error and assure you that we have fond memories of an Apollo 13 slammer shaped like the moon. Again, sorry about the mistake. Oh what a day.
